Easter Biscuits Recipe
Here's a quick Easter biscuits recipe...
Ingredients:
100g butter
75g caster sugar
1 free range egg (separated)
1 Unwaxed lemon
200g plain flour
50g currants
Method:

Method:
- Turn oven on to gas 5
- Cube the cold butter and mix with flour to make breadcrumbs, add the sugar and then get hands stuck in and bring together to make a dough
- Grate lemon into dough plus the currants and give it a good knead with hands
- Flour a surface and roll out to 5mm thick
- Use a floured cookie cutter and cut biscuits out
- Lay on a lined baking tray and brush with the egg yolk as a glaze bake in the oven for 10-12 mins
- When golden take out and sprinkle on some extra sugar and try not to eat all at once!!
